FNL Foundation Launches the Tree Nursery Establishment Project on Earth Day 2024

The Faith Norah Lukosi Foundation is making significant strides in its Tree Nursery Establishment Project. The initiative aims to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development by setting up tree nurseries at various institutions in Kenya.

Training Session at Bidii Primary School

On Saturday, the foundation in partnership with Kenya Forest Research Institution conducted a successful training session at Bidii Primary School, focusing on the establishment and management of a tree nursery. The event was attended by FNL Foundation Volunteers, members of the Bidii Primary 4K Club, the Girl Guide Club, Drama Club, and their patrons. This training marked the beginning of our tree nursery  program, starting with Bidii Primary as a pilot project.

Participants gained valuable insights into tree nursery establishment, thanks to Mr. Jimmy from KEFRI and Madam Anne Maina from the Ministry of Agriculture. Special recognition was given to Madam Rachel Stanley, the Bidii Primary School 4K Club patron, other teachers in attendance, and Madam Faith Norah Lukosi, Executive Director of the Faith Norah Lukosi Foundation, for their contributions to the success of the event.
